Carteret’s multicultural festival hits a major milestone this year — 50 years of Ethnic Day.
The borough’s annual Mayor’s Charity Carnival and Music Festival brings food, art and craft vendors, and cultural performances beginning at noon on September 19 at Carteret Park.
Opening the celebration is New Jersey’s own Funk Salsa Urban, bringing their high-energy salsa + funk + urban fusion.
Closing the night is legendary CeeLo Green at 8 PM for a free headline concert, followed by a special light show and fireworks display.
