It was a historic day-to-night takeover for Funk Salsa Urban.
By Day: Carteret Park, NJ – Opening set for Carteret’s 50th Annual Ethnic Day / Multicultural Festival, the borough’s golden anniversary celebration. The free festival featured cultural performances from noon and closed the night with five-time Grammy winner CeeLo Green at 8 PM, followed by a light show and fireworks.
By Night: SoHo, NYC – Gonzalez y Gonzalez, 192 Mercer St. – Funk Salsa Urban delivered a full house late show for Live Salsa Thursdays, fusing basic salsa rhythms with funk & urban — inspired by 90s legends DLG.
Two cities. One day. Full house at both ends.
